Become a confident Montessori leader

In our communities we aim for more than “classroom management.” We aim to be effective leaders. Montessori is based on the idea of non-compulsory education. In this 3-hour workshop, we will discuss how to set children on the path towards self-discipline and how you can become a confident leader in your environment.

Become a confident Montessori leader

WHAT WILL BE DISCUSSED

  • How does a Montessori Community function? What are the basics?
  • Ingredients for successful Classroom Leadership
  • Tracking progress over time

PERFECT FOR

  • Montessori educators
  • Montessori administrators
  • Assistant Guides interested in deepening their understanding of the Montessori approach to classroom management

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

  • A thorough understanding of the basic building blocks on which Montessori communities operate, offering freedom within limits
  • A step by step ‘recipe’ for effective classroom leadership, including limit setting strategies
  • A reference point for expected progress over time, from initial disorder to a normalized classroom
My favourite parts were the concrete examples. I feel that often in trainings, we are given theories and not given examples for how to apply them, but after this training it feels easy to apply these foundations.

There are many interesting and useful tips in the workshop and I am also using a great deal of the tool kit in my working practice already.
