About PMI

Prepared Montessorian Institute (PMI) is the most innovative and growing quickly to be one of the largest Montessori adult learning centers in the world. Our main goal is to help educators understand and employ the Montessori method to serve the children in their lives. In order to do this, need to support more than just classes, but a whole support network of people who understand their circumstances and help customize a learning experience that fits.

We’re a digital-first Montessori adult learning center that meets the needs of learners where they are. We have multiple in-person training locations for that portions of our training that happen on site, but most of the work can be done from anywhere in the world, so long as you are available at the times when the learners need us! Our training is designed to dramatically increase the number of educators with Montessori expertise and help them find job opportunities to put their learning into action and begin supporting the growth of growing numbers of children.

Prepared Montessorian Institute is a part of the Higher Ground Education network, the same network that operates about 100 Montessori schools in the United States and has a few in Europe and Asia. The collaboration with this network of schools allows those in our training connect their learning with real-life practice, and also provides many different career opportunities for you.

Bringing Montessori to the mainstream isn’t easy. It means training more Montessori educators and making the Montessori approach irresistible to communities who may never have heard of it before. Are you ready to serve the adult’s needs?

We know that many of our learners are busy, working professionals, so it is our responsibility to meet their needs. This means that many of our learning opportunities happen in the evenings, on weekends during US time zones, or in other flexible ways. This means we’re ready to serve them when they need it and our hours vary quite a bit. There definitely will be responsibilities in the evenings, on weekends, and the job will require travel in order to meet the learners where they are.
