Build positive partnerships with parents
An effective partnership with parents requires a relationship built upon trust and positive shared experiences, and a willingness to share information about the Montessori method and strategies that have been helpful, both at home and at school. When we do this successfully, the result is a predictable and congruent experience for the child, setting up conditions for the child to thrive.

“The biggest takeaway from the workshop was that sometimes things are overwhelming for parents. Take things slow. Give them the words to say to their children. Parents love to be in the know.”

“As Head of School, along with our educators, I work with the parents in supporting them to adopt Montessori in their homes. This workshop reminds me to always be proactive and responsive versus reactive.”
