CERTIFICATION

After attending all 8 modules, participants have the option to earn The Prepared Montessorian In-Home Educator certificate. The certificate represents 16-hours of attendance as well as the completion of the Montessori In the Home Assessment.

The Assessment consists of a written portion and video submission. The written portion is due within two weeks of course completion and the video submission can be submitted after that.

Participants write responses to short answer questions covering content discussed in the course. The questions invite participants to share their grasp on the foundational principles for bringing the Montessori methodology into the home for children from birth to age six.

Once the written portion of the Assessment has been reviewed, the video can be submitted. Participants are asked to submit a short video demonstrating a common activity using the principles of the art of the presentation and inspiring children to work. No Montessori materials are needed.

Building a Bridge between School and Home

Building a Bridge between School and Home

Now more than ever, people are finding ways to create learning environments inside their homes to ensure their children continue to develop and thrive. Many participants who take this course are interested in homeschooling, pod-learning, nannying, or are seeking to bridge the approach taken at home for children who attend a Montessori school. Children thrive when there is consistency between home and school. This course provides the principles and application of those principles to create a full Montessori learning experience in the home in much of the same way it is done in a school.
